Complex and inviting, the bouquet shows dark cherry, plum, thyme, clove, and toasted almond notes, followed by a succulent palate that's supple and lingering. Harmonious and soothing with silky tannins, finishing long and seductive. At its best: now to 2034.

Ray Jordan, Wine Pilot – 92 Points

The cooler climate of Padthaway really does suit pinot noir and this one is a beautiful example of what can be achieved. Exotic aromas of strawberry and cherry with faint hints of truffly mushroom. Light bodied palate but it has excellent flavour intensity with fine supporting tannins and a lick of subtle oak. A lifted spicy finish works well.
